On behalf of the Board of Education and District Administration, we would like to provide an update regarding the tennis and pickleball court project.
During the maintenance process, it was determined that the existing playing surface required a complete replacement rather than the repairs originally anticipated. While this unforeseen issue extended the project timeline, the full replacement will provide our students and community with a higher-quality, more durable facility for years to come.
Importantly, all additional work has been completed under warranty, resulting in no additional cost to the district or our taxpayers.
Weather permitting, we anticipate that the courts will be completed and available for use in the coming weeks.
We sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding of our students, families, staff, and community members throughout this process. We look forward to reopening these improved facilities for school athletics, physical education, and community recreation.
