Congratulations to Our New Jersey Boys/Girls State Delegates!

We are incredibly proud to announce that juniors Alexandra DeOrio, Robert Warren, and Ryan Dauble have been selected to attend the New Jersey Boys/Girls State programs, held this summer at Rider University and Centenary University. Boys State and Girls State is a week-long leadership and government development program where outstanding high school students from across the state come together to run a mock government, develop leadership skills, and engage in civic training.

Their selection comes as no surprise to those who know them. They are dedicated individuals who balance academic excellence with an impressive array of extracurricular commitments. All three students truly embody the spirit of leadership, service, and dedication that defines our community.

Alexandra DeOrio

DeOrio
Allie stands out among her peers due to her exceptional dedication and willingness to go above and beyond expectations. She is deeply committed to our school community and consistently makes meaningful contributions to every endeavor she undertakes.

As Varsity Debate Captain, Allie has demonstrated outstanding leadership by helping organize meetings, competitions, and fundraisers that support both the JV and Varsity teams. As a member of the Board of Cavo Cancer Crushers, she plays an integral role in planning school events, coordinating donations, and organizing the annual Relay for Life. Her leadership skills are further evident in her role as Creative Director, and next year’s Co-President of the National Art Honor Society, where her ability to manage projects and effectively delegate responsibilities is particularly noteworthy.

In addition to maintaining a high level of academic achievement, Allie is actively involved in numerous organizations, including Key Club, Student Council, and National Honor Society. She also served as Class President during both her freshman and sophomore years, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to student leadership.

Outside of school, Allie is a dedicated employee at Wayback Burger/Molte Pizze and Rugile’s Kitchen, where she manages front-of-house operations while also assisting with food preparation. Her strong work ethic and commitment to service distinguish her as an accomplished young woman.

With a keen interest in law and public policy, Allie has a bright future ahead. Her drive, initiative, and passion for making a positive impact will undoubtedly lead to continued success in all of her future endeavors.

Robert Warren

Robert is an outstanding student who demonstrates a remarkable commitment to both his academics and extracurricular pursuits. A varsity basketball player and a member of the National Honor Society, Robert is deeply invested in leadership and service.

His dedication to his school and the broader community is reflected in his diverse involvement: he serves others through the Key Club, champions cancer awareness with the Cavo Cancer Crushers, advocates for the planet in the Environmental/Sustainability Club, and represents his peers on the Student Council. Additionally, he works to sharpen his financial acumen as a member of the Investments and Trading Club.

Looking ahead, Robert plans to pursue his interests in the fields of computer science and business. His exceptional drive and well-rounded achievements are a strong reflection of the bright future and success that lie ahead for him.

Ryan Dauble

Dauble
Ryan is an exceptional student who consistently sets a positive example for his peers through both his academic accomplishments and outstanding character. A dedicated three-sport athlete, he competes in baseball, soccer, and basketball, serving as basketball captain during his junior and senior years and preparing to lead as captain of the soccer team next year.

Beyond athletics, Ryan is deeply committed to serving others. His involvement in Key Club and Student Council reflects his genuine enjoyment of working with and helping those around him. His leadership, work ethic, and commitment to excellence have earned him membership in both the National Honor Society and the Business Honor Society.

Ryan’s determination, integrity, and willingness to lead by example distinguish him among his peers. Looking ahead, he has strong interests in the fields of biology, engineering, and finance. Ryan’s future accomplishments will undoubtedly reflect the same dedication and character he demonstrates today.

Please join us in congratulating them on this well-deserved honor and wishing them an incredible experience this summer!
